The Company

Gehrke Econ is an interdisciplinary consulting group with 250 employees based in Isernhagen near Hanover. It combines tax consulting, auditing, legal and management consulting under one roof – structured according to its own specially developed Winsulting concept, which specifically networks expert knowledge from all disciplines. The focus is on advising medium-sized companies, particularly in the areas of restructuring, corporate planning, reorganisation and mergers & acquisitions.

As a multi-award-winning digital law firm, Gehrke Econ pursues a clear sustainability strategy – for example, through paperless processes, its own bee projects, reforestation campaigns and the promotion of e-mobility. The Challenge

In the past, Gehrke Econ employees were provided with frozen lunch options, which did not allow for spontaneous lunches due to long preparation times and were not considered to be particularly fresh or tasty. In the long run, there was also a lack of variety and flexibility – especially with different work rhythms. At a trade fair, Gehrke Econ discovered Foodji – a flexible solution with fresh meals around the clock. Exactly what had been missing until now.

The objectives of Gehrke Econ:

  • Providing employees with fresh and uncomplicated meals, including snacks, on a daily basis in order to maximise break and recovery times.
  • Creating tangible added value every day through subsidies
  • Increase employee satisfaction with flexible catering that is available at any time and requires no effort.
The lack of internal catering had the following disadvantages: the lack of dining options in the industrial park led to a significant time investment and additional stress in the daily search for food.
An in-house catering solution offers a practical solution for lunch, as employees do not have to leave their working environment to find a meal. This saves time and promotes efficient use of working hours.

A smart catering concept that has a noticeable effect on everyday life

Foodji offers high-quality meals around the clock for all employees, whether in the office or in production. The range is individually planned by AI: rotating from a total of 300 changing fresh dishes.

Space-saving solution without investment in infrastructure and personnel: only 1 square metre and a standard power connection per Foodji.

The daily range at Foodji is as follows:

  • 9 different main courses
  • 10 breakfast and snack dishes
  • 10 Snacks
  • 10 drinks

It is refilled 2–3 times a week, depending on whether work is carried out on 5 or 7 days.
