Internal, healthy lunch option due to lack of dining options in the surrounding area
When opening a new office location, Enpal faced a key challenge. There were very few dining options such as restaurants or snack bars in the vicinity of the new office.
Employees had to bring their own food from home or allow enough time during their lunch break to find a suitable restaurant. To avoid this, many employees regularly went to the nearest supermarket. But there were few wholesome and healthy meals available for lunch. Spontaneous breaks with colleagues were also rarely possible.

Foodji as a real benefit for every day

In Foodji, Enpal found a straightforward lunch option that aligned with the company's values. "Foodji only requires 1 m² of space and is open 24 hours a day. That's great because it allows our employees to decide for themselves when they want to eat."
The food selection at Foodji and the zero-food-waste concept also immediately impressed Enpal. Thanks to the diverse selection and a large vegetarian offering, Enpal was able to create a lunch menu that is varied and appeals to all of its employees. The Enpalers' favourite meals are lentil curry and the vegan falafel salad bowl.

Highlights of the decision
In order to offer its employees real added value, Enpal also subsidises meals at Foodji tax-free. By offering discounted meals, the company promotes healthy eating in the workplace and provides all employees – from trainees to senior management – with an attractive range of catering options every day.

Foodji is a great relief for employees, especially on stressful working days. They can now enjoy their break at work. In just a few seconds, they can shop at Foodji and use their entire break for eating, relaxing and socialising.
But even on normal days, Foodji offers employees unbeatable added value. Foodji is located on the fifth floor of the headquarters in Berlin, in the large kitchen. Colleagues often meet there for lunch and eat together. This has further strengthened the communal atmosphere and open communication.
Enpal is convinced of the innovative concept and the collaboration with Foodji is running smoothly. For this reason, Enpal has now installed three Foodjis: another one at a second location and a second one at its headquarters.
The demand for Foodji is so high that another Foodji was set up in one of the Enpal offices after a short time. There are now three Enpal Foodjis.
