How does food from Foodji differ from frozen food?

The Foodji is filled with fresh food 2-3 times a week. We place great importance on the freshness and quality of our ingredients and products and want all employees to have access to healthy food at work.

In addition to freshness, variety is also important to us: we stock the Foodji with a range of main dishes from a wide variety of cuisines, including Italian, Greek, German, Asian and many more. We also make sure that vegetarians and vegans can find something to suit their tastes.

Have you tried our nine dean&david salads yet? They're amazing! For those feeling peckish, we offer a wide selection of snacks such as wraps and sandwiches. By the way: unlike the menu service, you can reserve your favourite dish at Foodji 6 hours in advance.  

Can Foodji be used as a supplement to the canteen?

Many larger employers use Foodji to supplement their existing catering services. This is a decisive advantage, especially for companies with extended break times (e.g. night shifts), as it allows them to meet demand beyond the lunch break. With Foodji, opening hours can be easily extended at a moderate cost. This applies in particular to production and logistics companies or hospitals. But offices with flexible working models also benefit from this. Branches or companies with a large campus are also popular use cases for Foodji as a supplement to canteens. This means that all employees, regardless of their location or campus, can benefit from communal catering.

How often do the meals change at Foodji?

The Foodji is freshly stocked several times a week on fixed days. The menu changes with each restocking. This ensures that the selection is tailored precisely to your team. So if your team frequently orders salad, meat or vegetarian dishes, more salads, meat dishes or vegetarian dishes will be offered. The food at Foodji tastes as fresh as you would expect from a regular company restaurant. Thanks to the variety on offer, it is possible to order a different main course every day at Foodji for up to eight weeks. There is a varied and delicious lunch or breakfast to suit every taste. What is the purpose of extended opening hours?

Not every employee has the opportunity to take part in the traditional Monday to Friday lunch break. People who work shifts or weekends in particular do not have access to this. A canteen that is only open at lunchtime from Monday to Friday therefore does not reach them. With a catering facility that is open around the clock or at least has extended opening hours, everyone can be catered for. The purpose: this communicates appreciation and promotes health and satisfaction. Especially during night shifts, it is important for the body to eat healthily and prevent cravings. Is it possible for companies to offer a meal allowance on Foodji?

Yes. As with a traditional canteen, employers can subsidise daily meals (main courses, breakfast until 11 a.m., snacks, drinks) at Foodji tax-free. Foodji's intelligent system ensures that all tax regulations, such as the value of benefits in kind, are complied with without any effort. In addition, it is possible that external persons may have access to Foodji at your location (e.g. visitors or employees of other companies).
