As the market leader for berries and wild mushrooms, Widmann now imports fresh produce from all over the world and is also growing more and more of its own. During the season, fruit comes from its own regional cultivation areas and, during the rest of the year, from its own production in Austria, Romania, Spain, South Africa, Namibia and Chile.

Stress-free, varied break – even for shift workers
The employees of Herbert Widmann GmbH had previously catered for themselves. Cooking in advance during their free time was often the only alternative, as even the nearest supermarket was not open during shift hours. Ultimately, this type of catering was neither varied nor healthy.
The lack of internal catering had the following disadvantages: self-catering or long distances to the nearest supermarket, no solution for shift workers and a lack of variety.

Foodji offers high-quality meals around the clock for all employees, whether in the office or in production. The range is individually planned by AI: rotating from a total of 300 changing fresh dishes.
The wishes of the administrative staff are being fulfilled: more light meals such as salads and bowls are being offered. The wishes of the production staff are being fulfilled: hearty, wholesome meals with traditional meat dishes.
Space-saving solution without investment in infrastructure and personnel: only 1 square metre and a standard power connection per Foodji.
